A Model Of The Narrow Gauge Diesel Locomotive GLS-30 - Still In Use At Factories
The GLS-30 series diesel locomotives went into serial production in 1961. They were and continue to be very popular industrial, narrow gauge engines.
Today they are generally found in brickyards.
The first two images above show variations of GLS30 that are found in the Narrow Gauge Train Museum, Sochaczew, Poland.
The cab is arranged such that the driver sits sideways.
It is equipped with a 3 speed gear box. The engine is water cooled.
