Shipping from Poland took a few days but this kit is well worth the wait. Kit assembled in minutes. (Having the correct size drill bits was very helpful.) Testing was easy with the included 9V battery connector. 9V is plenty powerful, however adding a transformer putting out 12Vdc really steps up the game. My first tests used a flat shallow baking pan about 12"x16". Using the included strainer, I witnessed fibers jumping through the air all over the pan. Of course gravity gets 99% of the fibers to fall straight through the e-field and land where you put them. The point is the e-field generated in my testing with a 12Vdc transformer was pretty broad. Fibers stood tall and proud, second application, third application all stood up. I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone interested in static grass applications. Suggestion for more versatility is to have some flexibility with the power level. To do this have a couple of transformers, 6Vdc, 9Vdc and 12Vdc
